• My name is Paul Widergren and I am the author of this site. I teach beginning Spanish at Jasper High school, Jasper, AR, and to the two other rural high schools in our district in Kingston and Oark, AR, through a high-tech compressed video distance learning system. I hold a M.A.in German Literature as well as a M.S.Ed. in Secondary Education and have been teaching Foreign Languages (German, Latin, Spanish) and Mathematics at the high school level for 20 years. Although I have lived in places as varied as Wisconsin, Illinois, California, New York, Texas, Germany and India (and that is just the short list), at this point in my life I have lived in Northern Arkansas longer than any place else.
